Full kitchen, with all what you need, never see a so equiped kitchen on a campground. Amazing fire place, in the evening nice people around. Half an hour walk to the river. Everywhere on the ground is good drinking water. IGA 3 km away. Stay here 6 beautiful nights. Price is fair. Everytime again.

Look, it’s not a resort, it’s a working ranch. It’s dusty and there are flies. There are also plenty of toilets and hot showers. Even the fenced playground was better then expected. The pool was freezing but a welcome relief from the hot afternoon. There are paddocks of horses that the kids and I visited often. It’s very dog friendly (unlike most of Kalbarri) and the staff are super friendly and really accommodating. Communal fire fits are provided but they are not allowed personal fires due to being in the National Park. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go on our booked trail rides due to illness and us leaving early but it looked fantastic! Buy fly nets before you leave, don’t expect a fancy resort and you will have a great time at Big River Ranch! We will definitely be back if we go back to Kalbarri.

Well maintained and good vibes at this ranch. We have a pop-up caravan and it was perfect for us. We loved the swimming pool to cool down during the sweltering heat that we had during our stay in Kalbarri. Friendly and helpful staff and we had a great time.

Super cute place to camp just outside of Kalbarri, with horses right outside your camp site, best shower in a hundred kilometres haha

Glad to have chanced upon this horse riding experience in our short 2 day stay in Kalbarri. The owner, Rex, was friendly and accomodating in allowing us to sign up for the tour just the day before. The guides and horses were lovely and friendly! The local businesses are still recovering from the aftermath of COVID and cyclone Seroja, so do try them out if you wish to explore the Murchison River on horseback!

Had a beautiful morning with my son and I, horse riding. It was so good to get back in the saddle after a few years. The horses are so well behaved and there were lots of opportunities to have a trot. I was even given the opportunity to go for a canter which I loved.

This place was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here.We got an unpowered site but there are toilets and showers to use. The showers are the best! And everything very clean.There is also a big kitchen with all the facilities. Even when some people had made a mess during the night, everything was already clean by the morning.There is a nice pool and even playing areas for kids.The couple at reception are very helpful and nice. They gave us some information about things to do in Kalbarri.They have some horses to do horse riding and there is one at the entrance that is so beautiful and friendly!This is a must stay place !
